I’m excited to announce that I’ve started working on a new version of RAM Kontroler 2.0! After years of experience and analyzing current user needs, I’ve decided to introduce major changes that will make the program even more effective.

What’s new in version 2.0? 🔧

Rewritten in Rust – significantly faster performance, better resource optimization, and enhanced safety.
New memory monitoring engine – more accurate data collection and improved RAM usage analysis.
Interactive user interface – more transparent and intuitive UI to make memory management easier.
Smarter automation – intelligent memory release based on system load.
App selection for optimization – users will be able to exclude specific processes from optimization or select only chosen apps (e.g., web browsers).
Support for modern systems – full compatibility with the latest versions of Windows.

Why Rust? 🦀

I chose to rewrite RAM Kontroler in Rust because of the amazing advantages it offers:

  • Performance – Rust enables efficient memory management without performance overhead.
  • Safety – No memory-related bugs or unsafe behavior.
  • Modern architecture – A solid foundation for long-term development and scalability.

Project status 🛠️

Currently, I’m at the stage of architectural planning and initial testing of the memory monitoring engine. I’ll be sharing the first screenshots and a test version soon!
